Hello to the Community.
Unfortunately I installed the update to Windows 10 and I'm regretting this doumb action all the time.
After a long fight I was able to re-run Apache, having stopped all the IIS services and flagged all the executable to run in W7 compatibility mode and with admin privileges - I'm an administrator so why i must specify this is a complete mistery to me...-
But the fight with MySQL seems lost, at this moment at least.
I deactivated and stopped all the SQL Server thash in the services panel but MySQL is not starting. I have 14.9 version of EasyPHP.
Is there anybody who can give me a clue how to successfully restart MySQL ?
Is it possible to download the original file from their website and install it again over the old installation ?
I have a lot of data in those data files and it is a real tragedy if I loose them.
THanks for any help.
P.S.
DON'T DON'T DON'T DON'T DON'T upgrade to W10.
The incompatibilities are a lot.
